The Ollila Hummer Tree

Thanks to Lil and K. T., the Ollila Hummer tree is almost complete. It includes full names, dates and birthplaces where known. Unless you wish, it will not be posted here, but if family branches need a copy, please write and we would be most happy to send you one. If you have additions and corrections, we hope you will keep us posted.

The John Ollila family has created a very beautiful tree of our related Ollila branches and we are looking forward to sharing stories with them.

We received a note from John Ollila, grandson of Juho Ollila who was Karl's closest brother. He married Maria Jussila. (We wonder if she was related to Karl's wife, Elizabeth Jussila.) They had 11 children. These are the Fairport Harbor Ollilas.

For our archives, John sent a wonderful book from the Fairport Harbor Historical Society: A History of Fairport Harbor Ohio 1976,

along with postcards and an article about Great Lakes Shipping.
